Healing and Support’s advocacy is at the client’s discretion and includes:

  • assisting the client request special consideration in relation to provision of services from the Diocese related to the client’s family
  • supporting the client’s claim for redress, either through Towards Healing, directly with the Diocese or through the National Redress Scheme
  • assisting the client seek an ex-gratia payment from the Diocese to meet acute, or unique circumstances
  • supporting the client address criminal charges brought against them.
