The Newcastle Anglican Church has Diocesan Survivor Support and Advocacy Service for those affected by abuse within the Anglican diocese. It forms a part of the Anglican Professional Standards Directorate.

Newcastle Anglican Church also operates its Pastoral Care and Assistance Scheme (PCAAS) using the same framework as the National Redress Scheme. PCAAS is the approved scheme for adult victims of sexual abuse within the Diocese and for victims of other forms of child abuse within the Diocese.
